If you are coming from Paintsville, Prestonsburg,
or Pikeville, KY, follow this route to Hazard and Jeff, KY:
- From Paintsville, follow US 23 South toward Prestonsburg. From Pikeville,
follow US 23 North toward Prestonsburg.
- Where KY 80 and US 23 split (about 3 miles past Prestonsburg traveling
south, or 3 miles
before Prestonsburg traveling north), take the exit for KY 80 toward
Hazard.
- Take the Hazard/Jackson exit (Exit 59) off of KY 80. At the end of
the ramp, turn right.
This puts you on KY 15, which goes into Hazard.
- Once you are beyond the traffic signals at the KY 80/KY 15 interchange,
continue to go straight on KY 15 through two more traffic lights.
- At a third traffic light, make a right turn across a large bridge
onto the
KY 15/Johnny Cox All American Drive/Hazard By-Pass.
- Continue on KY 15/Hazard By-Pass through one traffic signal. You
will see CVS Pharmacy and Community Trust
Bank on your left at that traffic signal.
- Follow KY 15/Hazard By-Pass to a second traffic signal where the
By-Pass meets KY 15 South.
You will see a Hardee's restaurant straight ahead.
- Turn right onto KY 15 South. Follow KY 15 South approximately six
(6) miles. Just prior to
the KY 15/KY 7 split, you will see a BP gas station to your right. Above
the hill from that service
station also on the right, you will see the Perry County JobSight sign
and the Perry County JobSight building
(the former Dilce Combs High School).
- Use the driveway adjacent to the BP station, drive uphill, and park.
Park in either available
parking lot behind or in front of the JobSight,
and enter at any marked entrance.

Pikeville-to-Prestonsburg
