Customized Training

EKCEP's customized training is used to meet the special requirements of an employer or group of employers, conducted with a commitment to employ all individuals upon successful completion of training.

EKCEP's apprenticeship program is a unique, flexible training system that combines job-related technical instruction with structured on-the-job learning experiences. Apprentices start working from day one with incremental wage increases as they become more proficient on the job.

Incumbent Worker Training

Incumbent worker training is targeted training to avert the need to lay off employees by assisting workers in obtaining the skills necessary to retain employment, allowing employers to retain a skilled workforce and stay competitive.

Soft Skills Training

EKCEP can provide expert-led soft skills training for employees, including communication, customer service, workplace principles, and other key topics identified by employers, through the Work S.E.N.S.E., Ethics S.E.N.S.E. and WIN Courseware. Work S.E.N.S.E. and Ethics S.E.N.S.E may also meet the soft skills criteria for Work Ready Community In Progress initiatives that are working toward Work Ready Community county certifications. In addition, these soft skills tools are available for use in high schools to prepare students to be good workers when they enter the workforce as part-time workers during school or full-time workers upon graduation.
