What are ERNs?
Employer Resource Networks are private-public consortia whose purpose is improved workforce retention through employee support and training.
Kentucky is in the process of developing Employer Resource Networks® (ERNs®) throughout the Commonwealth. This innovative model to workforce development aims to blend the efforts of business, social service and workforce development agencies to support all employees, but particularly low-wage and entry-level employees, with job retention services, work supports, education, and training.
The ERN® under this registered trademark are licensed with ERN USA® and operate under the same employer-driven model. They also use our customized CMS platform that provides case management, program metrics, and reporting capabilities.
ERNs® pull together job retention services, work supports, education and training. While the focus is on entry-level and low wage employees, the services are available to all who work for ERN member companies.
