Calling all Eastern Kentucky high school and college students! Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program (EKCEP) and its partners in the Kentucky Career Center JobSight network are working again to provide high school and college students with enriching paid summer work experience opportunities across their 23-county service area.

As part of EKCEP’s Prosper Appalachia initiative, the 2024 summer work program caters to students seeking practical work experience and supplemental income during their summer break. Participants will have the opportunity to explore various career paths, develop essential skills, and contribute positively to their communities.

JobSight also offers a variety of resources to help you find the summer job that's right for you. Their experienced staff can assist you with:

  • Résumé and cover letter writing

  • Job search skills training

  • Interview preparation

  • Connecting you with open positions

The 2024 summer work program will be available across EKCEP's 23-county service area. To get started, students interested in participating can contact a career advisor at their nearest Kentucky Career Center JobSight.
